A shampoo I'm not allergic to!! Hurrah! Most shampoos that advertise themselves as "natural" or as hypo-allergenic still contain many substances that chemical- or allergy-sensitive people react to. Avalon's shampoos, however, seem free of such noxious substances. I've used the rosemary, lemon, and lavender "flavors." The lavender scent can be strong and may cause reaction in some sensitive individuals. I tend to react even to essential oils, but I do find these shampoos terrific. I've tried zillions of shampoos and most of them make me react in one way or another--sneezing, hives, bumps of all sorts. Thanks for offering such a healthy product!

My hair has never felt so soft and manageable. It sure beats the salon shampoos that you pay so much for. It's all-natural, with no unnecessary chemicals. I felt the difference in my hair immediately. As soon as my sister felt how soft it made my hair, she ordered it too. And the smell is very pleasant.

I am a lover of anything lavender. Until I used this shampoo and the conditioner, I always felt like the products I used did not completely rinse out of my hair. This product smells fabulous, cleans hair thoroughly and gently, rinses out completely and leaves a lovely fragrance behind. It is without doubt, the best shampoo (and conditioner) I have ever used. With this shampoo, conditioning is not even necessary.

It leaves my hair so soft and manageable. It is the best shampoo I have ever used...and is now the ONLY shampoo I use. I wish I had known about it years ago. Please keep it as one of your products!

It works well to clean and clear any hairstyle products I'd have on. Unlike other clarifying shampoo, this one does not strip my hair's natural oil and leaves hair light and soft!

Having very dry & damaged hair I was skeptical, but took a chance with this because of the good reviews. I'm extremely happy with how full, clean, and soft it makes my hair feel. It lathers up so nice and thick. I don't even have to use conditioner! Sometimes I even use it afterwards as a body wash - just a little goes a long way, and the bathroom smells so good!
