Of course, if you are diabetic you should always talk to your doctor about any supplement you are adding to your diet. My boyfriend is diabetic and we had done some lay reading on chromium. So, he started taking 3 - 200 mcg tablets a day along with his medication. His blood sugar was very brittle before - up and down. He now has better, more stable control. On top of that, his cholesterol level is down. He hasn't made a lot of changes to his diet besides this so, while it may not be the cause, I think it has certainly helped him quite a bit.
