Both Echinacea and Astragalus are well known and well documented, powerful, safe, and effective immunostimulants. Echinacea supports both the body's antiviral and antibacterial capabilities. Astragalus is the herb of choice for deep immune building during non-acute phases (see Astragalus information).

Herbs For Kids™ founder, Sunny Mavor, designed our Echinacea/Astragalus Blend™ for her son when he developed chronic bronchitis in the fall. She gave him a "tonic dose"?twice a day, six days a week for six weeks ? and he remained healthy through the winter.

This blend is designed to rebuild the immune system after the acute illness phase. Immune rebuilding is important for the child who catches every cold going around.
