Goldenseal Root (Hydrastitis Canadenisis) is known for its antibiotic like actions. Goldenseal may be used for inflammation of the mucous membranes and respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, genito-urinary system, poor digestion, atonic dyspepsia, fevers, inflammation, hemorrhoids, colds & flu, impetigo, viral & bacterial infections, peptic ulcers, diarrhea and improving all catarrhal conditions.

Golden Seal is a very important traditional herb. Golden Seal was listed from 1860 to 1926 in the U.S. Pharmacopoeia. It was primarily used for inflammations of the mucous membranes. Native Americans used Goldenseal both internally and externally and also derived a dye from the root.
Recommend:
As an addition to the daily diet, take two capsules daily with water at mealtime. For best results, use for two weeks continuously, then take a one to two week break.

Not recommended for use by pregnant or lactating women. Keep out of reach of children.
