Pleasant Scent, But Not Recommended for Dry Hair

I have used Ecco Bella's shampoo for normal/dry hair with good results, so I though I would give the conditioner a try. I have color treated hair, and I tried many brands of conditioners formulated for dry hair, from drug store brands for high priced, "salon-only" types. I found this conditioner pleasantly scented, with a light fresh grapefruit fragrance. Although this is suggested for dry hair, I found this conditioner unsuitable for dry hair, lacking the emoillient & detangling qualities necessary. Using a large toothed comb to distribute this through my hair was quite difficult. After rinsing, my hair felt rough, as though I had not used a conditioner at all (although it did smell nice.) Perhaps this would be more suited to "normal" or slightly oily hair.
