I find this supplement to be as sedating as diazapam (Valium). Instead of using "Drive" (a product recommended on the label to combat extreme sedation caused by Emotional Rescue), I use this product alone as a sleep aid and it's wonderful. For times of moderate to severe emotional stress I highly recommend it. For me, it is a highly effective, quick-working supplement that delivers.

ratingBetter than Prozac!

I've suffered from bouts of depression for many years and began taking Prozac several years ago. It was great for a while, but began to lose its effectiveness (I believe the technical term for this is Prozac poop-out). I also experienced a lot of gastrointestinal problems while on Prozac. My doctor tried several different prescription anti-depressants but the side effects were pretty bad with all of them. I decided to go the herbal route and try St. John's wort. I did some research and really liked the combo of vitamins/herbs etc. in the Emotion Tablets. I've been taking them for about eight months and they've worked great with no nasty side effects! I must admit I did try to take just St. John's wort by itself because it's a lot cheaper to go that route, but I really noticed a difference, so I'm back to the Emotion Nutrition. It is worth the $$$ because this formula really works!
