Description:

Herbal Cough Syrup provides temporary relief and soothing of coughs due to minor sore throat irritations, breaks up phlegm, and thins bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive.

Recommendation:

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 tablespoonsful every 4 hours; Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 tablespoonful every 4 hours; Children 2 to under 6 years of age: 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours. Not more than 4 doses in 24 hours. For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor.

Naturade Herbal Cough Syrup. Expec II. Expectorant with bee propolis. Helps relieve dry hacking cough and sore throat due to the common cold or inhaled irritants. Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive.

Ingredients:

Glyceryl Guaiacolate (guaifenesin)?150mg

Ingredients:

Glyceryl Guaiacolate (Guaifenesin), Menthol, Alcohol.

Additional Ingredients:

Wild Cherry Bark Extract, Horehound, Cocillana Bark, Menthol, Euphorbia, Wild Lettuce, Senega Root, Rose Hips, Ginkgo Biloba, Red Clover and Honey.

Dosage:

Adults and Children 12 years and over: take 2 tablespoonfuls every 4 hours; Children 6 to 12 years of age: 1 tablespoonful every 4 hours; Children 2 to 6 years of age: 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours. Not to exceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period. For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor.

Cautions:

Do not exceed recommended dosage. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not take this product, or give to children for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or where cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a doctor. In case of accidental overdose, contact the poison control center immediately. If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, consult a health professional before taking this product. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
