Good value, great taste...

I've been using stevia in tea and coffee and the taste explains why the sub-moronic and super-corrupt FDA won't approve it as a sweetener. Equal and Sweet-n-Low would vanish in a year. (By the way, I also highly recommend MotherNature.com. They were efficient, FAST--my order arrived sooner than I expected--and included a free gift.) Two minor points: I have dietary troubles with coconut, so i wish it didn't use coconut glycerin in it. Next time i will try the Stevita brand that uses only purified water and stevia. I had a problem with the packaging, the yellow plastic lid cracked, and as a result half of it dripped away onto some of my less important paperwork. Stevia actually tastes as good (NOT identical, but AS good) as sugar, and is good for you. The artificial sweeteners taste like punishment for getting so fat. Now if we can just get the FDA to get a clue and stop taking bribes from the pink and blue packet people.........

The benefits of Stevia that I have found is that it is a good sugar substitute (e.g. for teas) and it helps to maintain blood sugar levels throughout the day so I don't have a sharp drop in blood sugar and want to eat lots of food. It has been a great dietary aide. I recommend getting an alcohol free brand.
