Great alternative to Metamucil and other fiber drinks

The Nature's Way psyllium capsules have been a miracle for me. They are easy to take and not messy. The best part was that I found there was no bloating associated with taking the capsules, unlike with fiber drinks. It's a great alternative.

With so many "industrialized nations" afflictions, such as heart disease, high cholesterol, cancer, indigestion, poor nutrient absorption, and chronic fatigue, to name only a few, I am surprised that this product is not more popular/publicized. I can only speculate that this is due to the public's reticence in speaking about proper elimination habits. This is very silly and dangerous besides, since our average diets are woefully lacking in proper fiber and hence lead to the afflictions listed above. This product is an excellent fiber supplement. It is specifically the HUSK of the psyllium seed, which is the part that does most of the work in the speeding of wastes in the colon--like bran in wheat and oats (something which we should eat more of, as well). It is not a laxative! Anyone who says so is uneducated. Just read the literature in the library and encyclopedia on this site--very helpful. I highly recommend it!
