Senna (Cassia Angustifolia) is used as a powerful cathartic in the treatment of constipation.

Instructions:

Do not consume more than two cups daily. Do not give to children. The infusion method: Place 1-2 tsp. of the herbal tea into a cup and add no more than 6 oz. of boiling water. Let steep for 2-3 minutes and then strain off the herbs. The decoction method: Place 1-2 tsp. of the herbal tea into 6-8 oz. of boiling water. Continue to boil for 3-5 minutes and then strain off the herbs. Add honey to sweeten.

Put 1 tea bag into a cup and add 6 oz. of hot water. Let steep. Add honey to sweeten.
