- Acetyl-L-Carnitine is a derivative of the amino acid L-Carnitine that is responsible for the transport of long chain fatty acids into the energy producing unit in the cells.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine has been suggested for Alzheimer's disease, senile depression, and added related memory defects. Free Form Amino Acid. Well tolerated by most highly allergic individuals.
As a dietary supplement, one capsule daily or as directed.
