Recommend: Cleanse face as usual. Complete cleansing by gently wiping skin with a Hazelet Pad. Use as many as needed to remove remaining oils and residue. Hazelets can be used as pftem as you wish for all your skin care needs.

Excellent for cleansing and cooling

Like T.N. Dickenson's bottled version of witch hazel, this comes in a much more convenient pad form. I've had much luck using witch hazel as a facial astringent in the past, and this does not disappoint. I especially like the use of a clean/sterile pad with each use rather than using the bottled version and cotton balls. With my chronic skin issues, these pads are quiet soothing, gentle, cooling, very effective, without the sting of typical astringents. Though I find the odor of witch hazel tolerable. Some do not. These pads do have the same strong odor that bottled witch hazel has when applied. Once the skin is dry I've noticed the scent quickly dissipates.
