Split bean and store in brandy to make a wonderful flavoring. To retain the most flavor, add when other ingredients are cooling. One of the most exquisite of all the sweet spices, vanilla has a mellow, fragrant, sweet taste.
My first thought when I opened the bottle was "Oh my! It smells like my bedroom when I was 13 and the incense burned constantly."
