For those without access to Valium/Xanax scripts, kava and valerian seem to be the only answers. According to some, combining kava and valerian may be the best answer. But to mix these herbs you need the right brands and the right balance, and the best balance differs from person to person. As far as single herbs go, this alcohol extract of East Indian valerian is the best I've seen so far available on the web. Now I'm looking for the best kava so I can mix it right!
