- Cholester-X Elevated blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels lead to plaque-filled arteries. This condition will reduce blood flow to the brain, heart and other areas of the body. High cholesterol levels are among the primary causes of heart disease, because cholesterol produces fatty deposits in arteries. They are also causes of gallstones, impotence, mental impairment and high blood pressure. Fermented Red Yeast (0.4% HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) is among the most effective agents for the reduction of production of total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels. It contains unsaturated fatty acids that may help reduce serum lipids. It is helpful in regulating elevated serum cholesterol and triglycerides. Grape Skin Extract helps as an anti-oxidant and free radical scavenger. It also helps strengthen capillaries. Panthethine helps to reduce high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood while increasing the HDL cholesterol. It inhibits cholesterol synthesis and accelerates the use of fat as an energy source. No-Flush Niacin (inositol hexanicotinate) is used to lower cholesterol and improve blood flow. Niacin is bound by inositol whey releasing niacin over a period of time to reduce the common side effects such as flushing, itching, heat and redness. Garlic lowers blood pressure and improves circulation. It also lowers blood lipid levels and detoxifies the body and helps protect against infection. Oat Bran is a natural fiber supplement which helps reduce high cholesterol. Soy insoflavones lower cholesterol levels, inhibits oxidation of LDL cholesterol which causes cardiovascular disease, helps prevent cancer and gallstones, protects kidney function, helps alleviate pre- and post- menopausal symptoms. Siberian Ginseng helps the body normalize stress. It also enhances function and helps with circulatory problems. Gugulipids are used to help with cholesterol problems by reducing LDL and increasing HDL cholesterol levels, along with reducing triglyceride levels. Also helps reduce platelet stickiness, which reduces the chance of blood clots that could lead to heart attack or stroke.
