Works well

I'm just starting menopause, and hot flashes and night sweats were beginning to become an annoyance. My gynecologist said my choices were birth control pills (not HRT) or to try herbal alternatives. As a breast cancer survivor, the Pill isn't an attractive alternative to me. I decided to go with Promensil alone intitally and then added black cohosh. This combo helped to minimize the symptoms to the point where they rarely occur, although it took about six weeks for the full impact to be felt.

On a scale of 1 to 10, Promensil receives a 10.

Before trying Promensil, I had severe hot flashes, sometimes 10-15 times a day. After trying Promensil daily for about 10 days, the hot flashes disappeared and do not come back unless I miss taking Ppromensil for two to three days.

Only thing that has made my hot flashes bearable

I am a survivor of stage-IV breast cancer. I was 40 years old at my first diagnosis and have been fighting for 10 years. During chemotherapy I went into chemically induced menopause. I now take Tamoxifen, which is known to cause hot flashes. Fortunately, my oncologist believes in natural medicine and he recommended soy to help control the almost constant hot flashes and night sweats. Promensil seems to work along with a combination of vitamin E, and a low dose of the prescription medications clonidine and bellamine. I still have a couple of hot flashes a day and an occasional night sweat, but it is definitely better. I am going to try adding genistein. Maybe the combination will work even better!

Promensil is worth trying prior to E/HRT.

I've been fortunate to not suffer from hot flashes during menopause. However, I did start having low-voltage heat surges a few times a day! While I didn't find them bothersome I wasn't interested in them intensifying! Promensil eliminated the "surges" by the 3rd day. I was amazed.

It made my life bearable again

I used to wake up every hour with night sweats. Then I heard about Promensil. The box indicated it might take up to 6 weeks to see results. I noticed results within 10 days. I also took Genistein and I experimented taking one or the other then both and found both worked best for me. It made this transitional time in my life so much more bearable. I was concerned about use as a breast cancer survivor but I got theOK from my oncologist and gynecologist. I no longer take it because the "hots" have stopped. I forgot to take it for a few days that's how I found out.
