Works well, but the two-step process is time consuming.

The first step lightens, and the second step darkens. The first few times I used both steps, but I noticed that the gray at the roots was not being covered. Then I used the only the second step on dry hair, and it worked perfectly. My hair is permed, but I am not experiencing any breakge as I do with other, more harsh coloring treatments.
